No weeks, no schedule β just mastery. Your student works on a small set of facts (3 by default). A fact is mastered after 3 correct answers in a row. The moment one fact is mastered, one new fact takes its place β master two today and two new ones appear. The student is never juggling more than the set size.
Facts come in teaching order, easiest patterns first (0s, 1s, 2s, doubles⦠for addition; 0s, 1s, 2s, 10s, 5s⦠for multiplication). Turned-around facts like 3 + 4 and 4 + 3 count as one fact.
Nothing is ever "done." Mastered facts quietly return for review. Miss one and it loses its checkmark and comes back into practice until it's re-mastered.
Miss a fact? The app shows the answer and the student types it correctly once before moving on.
Settings (βοΈ): adjust how many new facts are in play at once (fewer for a student who's overwhelmed, more for one who wants challenge) and turn on the fast-recall timer when accuracy is solid and you're building speed.
Fact Grid shows every fact and its status. Progress is the parent report.
π Read-aloud: every fact is read out loud automatically, and the small π button beside the problem repeats it. Turn it on or off in βοΈ Settings. The app uses the best voice on your device β on an iPad, downloading an "Enhanced" voice (Settings β Accessibility β Spoken Content β Voices) makes it sound even more natural.
Answer a few facts from each group. Get 3 right β that group is marked mastered and we move on. Any miss β we start practice there.
