For single week

A thoughtful path from wonder to wisdom.

Wonder becomes attention.

Original stories written to be worth a child's curiosity — and curiosity is what teaches them to look closely.

Attention becomes discernment.

Close reading and narration train them to notice what a story is doing, not only what happens in it.

Discernment becomes judgment.

Discussion and written response ask them to weigh what they have noticed and say why it matters.

Judgment becomes wisdom.

By high school they are reading for meaning — and carrying what they find into how they live.

THE CORNERSTONE DIFFERENCE

A different kind of literature curriculum.

Every lesson is written with purpose. Our stories are original, our approach is classical, and our resources are built for real families.

FREE ASSESSMENTS FOR HOMESCHOOL PARENTS

Not sure where your child stands?

Is my child ready for the next grade? Is this book too hard for her? Does he learn better by listening or by doing? Each assessment asks a handful of questions and gives you a plain answer you can act on the same afternoon — written from twenty-five years of teaching, not a personality quiz. Free, and nothing to sign up for. Six of them so far.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN.
Is this a complete literature curriculum?

Yes, for literature. The full-year curriculum covers 36 weeks with original stories, paired poetry, narration, copywork, dictation, discussion questions and complete answer keys. It is meant to be your core literature program rather than a supplement. It does not cover grammar, spelling or composition as separate subjects.

Is the curriculum explicitly Christian?

Not explicitly. The stories are written from a Christian worldview — honesty, courage, mercy, sacrifice — but they teach through the story rather than through instruction. There is no scripture study, no doctrine and no devotional component. That is deliberate. It fits Christian families who want their values reflected without being preached at, and classical families who simply want literature with moral weight.

Will it work for Charlotte Mason families?

Yes — it is built on those methods. Narration, copywork, dictation and living stories are the backbone of every packet, not additions to it. If you already teach this way, the weekly rhythm will feel familiar from the first lesson.

Can I try it before buying a full year?

Yes. Every grade has a free sample packet, and it is a complete week rather than an excerpt. Download it, teach it, and decide from experience. If it fits, individual packets are $6.50 each, or you can take the full 36-week year.
