📦 Shipping Notice for Print Books

To keep shipping costs as low as possible, we recommend placing smaller print book orders whenever practical. Orders that exceed our print partner's U.S. shipping weight limit may be fulfilled from a U.K. facility, resulting in significantly higher shipping charges. If you're purchasing several print books, placing two or more smaller orders will often reduce your shipping costs.

The Second Son's Inheritance — The letter comes to Alexios Doukas on the morning of the twenty-fifth of August 1071, which is also the morning before the army marches to Manzikert. His father is dead. His mother's handwriting has not changed since he learned to read it as a boy. He has the service record, the sword, the money, and two hundred and twenty-five men — and he must march in the morning regardless of what the letter says.
