One hundred and eight roots over 36 weeks, three new roots a week, each with its full word family so the student sees how one root builds many words. The building tier: ordinal numbers, the structural Greek roots that organize thousands of English words, and a widening range of core Latin vocabulary.

The answer key is bound into the back of the book. There is no separate teacher's edition to buy: one book holds the student's work and everything a parent needs to check it.
Flashcards are bound into the back of the book for the student to cut out, so the cards, the workbook and the app all teach the same set.
A Cornerstone practice app for the same roots is available separately and is entirely optional. The book is built to stand on its own, and a family that never opens the app is not missing any of the work.
