Rich Vocabulary is a placement-tested vocabulary program for Grades 3–8 (9th-12th adding soon) — one continuous app, not a separate purchase per grade. A genuine diagnostic (several questions per grade, not a single lucky guess) finds the right starting point, and a parent can always choose the grade directly instead.
Each grade's year is built from 360 original words — simpler everyday vocabulary in the early grades, moving into full Tier-2 and SAT-track words by high school. Every word comes with its own definition, synonyms, and an original example sentence in a warm, wholesome register.
Six ways to work with each week's words: Learn (flashcards with audio), Quiz (mixed meaning, fill-in-the-blank, and produce-the-word questions), Use It — with a choice of writing original sentences to print for a teacher or parent to check, a timed or untimed matching game, or a fast points-based Rally round — Check (Midyear and Year-End mastery tests), and Words, where a student can add their own words without ever being able to edit or delete the built-in list.
Mastery is earned, not assumed: a word only counts as mastered after four correct answers in a row, and the Progress tab tracks it by grade — with a printable certificate once a grade's words are fully mastered.
