📦 Shipping Notice for Print Books
To keep shipping costs as low as possible, we recommend placing smaller print book orders whenever practical. Orders that exceed our print partner's U.S. shipping weight limit may be fulfilled from a U.K. facility, resulting in significantly higher shipping charges. If you're purchasing several print books, placing two or more smaller orders will often reduce your shipping costs.
The Bell Under the Eaves — Elizabeth Cooke is fourteen in 1555, in the little town of Hadleigh, Suffolk, where the church bell has not rung since Queen Mary took the throne — its rope severed, its clapper chained so no Protestant hand can call the faithful to forbidden prayer. Her father was burned in Smithfield the spring before for preaching without the bishop's license. A message has come that asks Elizabeth to do something she has been told never to do.
