📦 Shipping Notice for Print Books

To keep shipping costs as low as possible, we recommend placing smaller print book orders whenever practical. Orders that exceed our print partner's U.S. shipping weight limit may be fulfilled from a U.K. facility, resulting in significantly higher shipping charges. If you're purchasing several print books, placing two or more smaller orders will often reduce your shipping costs.

The Last Orchard — Marguerite is twenty-two and has been managing the orchard in Normandy alone since June, when her father went east with the local men toward Sedan. It is September 1870 and the apples have come in despite everything — the trees were not informed of the war and have not adjusted their intentions. The story is about what it means to receive a harvest when the people who planted the trees are not there to receive it with you.
