📦 Shipping Notice for Print Books
To keep shipping costs as low as possible, we recommend placing smaller print book orders whenever practical. Orders that exceed our print partner's U.S. shipping weight limit may be fulfilled from a U.K. facility, resulting in significantly higher shipping charges. If you're purchasing several print books, placing two or more smaller orders will often reduce your shipping costs.
The Letter That Arrived Late — Yann Kerivel's wife died in July, and the letter she wrote to him in July arrived in October, three months after the fever took her. He had not known she could write. The letter is two pages, careful, the handwriting of someone who wrote infrequently and intended each word — and it tells him things about her he had not known in thirty years of marriage.
