📦 Shipping Notice for Print Books
To keep shipping costs as low as possible, we recommend placing smaller print book orders whenever practical. Orders that exceed our print partner's U.S. shipping weight limit may be fulfilled from a U.K. facility, resulting in significantly higher shipping charges. If you're purchasing several print books, placing two or more smaller orders will often reduce your shipping costs.
The Roof in the Rain — The crack in the beam has been there since the spring flood, when the house shifted on its foundation and the main crossbeam moved in a way that Arjun's father had been meaning to address. His father has been dead for four months. His mother is three days from her time. The monsoon is coming in Bengal in August of 1737, and Arjun is fourteen years old and must decide whether the crack will hold.
