The Grade 10 Poetry Companion accompanies the Cornerstone Academics literature curriculum with 36 poems, one for each week of the school year. At this level the poems turn toward transmission and inheritance — the history teacher, the last translator, the craftsman whose hands can teach what his words cannot — and ask students to read verse in which silence and precision carry equal weight with what is said. The curriculum follows a Charlotte Mason–inspired approach that keeps memorization and recitation at the center while building the capacity for sustained literary observation.
